Your Questions Answered

Q: I've never done this before. Is it safe? Absolutely. We've had zero serious incidents in 37 years. Our instructors are PADI-certified experts, and we maintain a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio (half the industry standard) so you get personalized attention every step of the way.

Q: What if I'm nervous or claustrophobic? Most people are! Our instructors are trained to work at your pace. We start in shallow water, and you can stop anytime. Many nervous beginners become our most passionate divers.

Q: Do I need to be super fit or a strong swimmer? No. You need to be comfortable in water and able to swim 200 yards (or 300 with fins), but you don't need to be an athlete. We'll teach you everything else.

Q: What if I don't pass? We work with you until you're confident and competent. There's no time limit on completing your certification, and we offer additional pool time at no extra charge if needed.

Q: How long does it take? The eLearning takes 8–12 hours (self-paced at home). The in-person training is 3 days. You'll be certified and ready to dive anywhere in the world.
